Story
Bai Mudan, sometimes referred to as white peony, is a white tea whose name reflects how the tea is picked: one bud and two leaves. The relative quality of Bai Mudans can be assessed by looking at it; if there are no buds present, then it is not a genuine Bai Mudan. Being a white tea, it is the least oxidized/processed of the teas. The steps include picking, withering/drying, and baking at low temperatures to preserve the freshness of the leaf.
