Blending Ideas
Our Kenyan tea makes for an aggressive brew (as its granular shape makes for a very strong brew right off the bat) and goes well with similarly strong flavors. Lavender, spices, lemongrass, and rooibos blend well. Tart flavors like hibiscus and cranberry are not recommended (unless you enjoy very acidic teas).
Story
Kenyan tea production is young, with its first tea plantation starting in 1903. Today Kenyan tea production is third only to China and India. Kenyan tea is known for its bold and robust yet familiar character. Furthermore, its fine consistency means it steeps quickly and will extract a lot of caffeine.
