Blending Ideas
This otherworldly tasting tea is best with juniper, lemon balm, rooibos, turmeric, mango, orange, and elderberry. Avoid choices that will overpower its subtle flavors, such as most spices, mints, lemongrass, and hibiscus.
Story
Like other teas grown in China's Wuyi mountains, this tea’s flavor is both subtle and complex, elusive and mysterious. Qilian is lightly roasted and best enjoyed fresh (where other oolongs age gracefully and become more complex over time). While it is agreeable, this tea may feel like a learning experience.
