Blending Ideas
Golden Needles is malty and thick, working best with spices and other punchy flavors (lavender, orange peel). Tart flavors like hibiscus and cranberry should be avoided or balanced out with Stevia or honey. Flowers work well but herbs should be used with discretion.
Story
Golden Needles is grown in the Yunnan Province of China. Few other tea-growing regions of the world excite a teahead as much as Yunnan. Many of Yunnan's tea trees are ancient, with tea having grown there naturally for thousands of years. This tea has a unique depth paired with the complexity often found in Chinese black teas.
